LOS ANGELES – January 15, 2014 – One lucky Firefly fan is the only Browncoat on the planet to get a very special shiny: the QMx Leaf on the Wind Prototype.

"I couldn't believe it was there, I was already speechless," recalls Rodney Ehrhardt, recipient of the key chain/pendant in a giveaway.

The Green Bay, Wis., resident is the envy of Browncoats everywhere: He was randomly selected from a vast pool of customers during our annual Black Friday Sale. His purchase netted him the only Leaf on the Wind Key Chain/Pendant that currently exists in the wild.

Rodney says he was already excited to receive his QMx shipment, but finding the bronze-colored leaf among his purchases was a genuine surprise. "My first reaction was disbelief," he says. "Whenever an order from QMx arrives, you are so excited to see the treasures in the box. ... To realize there is something extra in the box, sitting here I get a big grin just thinking about it."

Fate seemed to choose wisely. As a passionate Browncoat, Rodney says he "watched the full series at least once a week for the first few months" after buying Firefly on DVD. He was hooked. "I needed more. ... The Verse had too many more stories to tell, and I wanted to hear them all."

A penchant for QMx products soon developed after he spotted a few maquettes at Chimera Hobby Shop, a QMx-authorized reseller in Appleton, Wis.. Rodney shared a photo of his growing collection, which now includes QMx goods from both Firefly and Warehouse 13.

He also shared images of his (currently) one-of-a-kind pendant (upper right) and the bonus brass rocket ships that now decorate his Firefly Independents Flag.
