(QMx) is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our world-class team. Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, work collaboratively, and have an original and creative flair for character design, graphic design and illustration.

As part of our team, you will work on some of the highest-profile properties in the entertainment industry. Our design work spans everything from posters and T-shirts to replicas and statues, including our hit pop-culture collectible Q Figures.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling marketing and packaging that differentiates the QMx brand, clicks with our customers and drives key initiatives.
• Help drive the QMx brand image and promise by maintaining an understanding of our marketing strategy and business.
• Help ensure that brand standards are always being met.
• Contribute to creation of overall concept and design direction.
• Design arrays of related softlines and hardlines.
• Develop original graphics for print and softlines.
• Design and create technical product sketches and work to achieve desired final product.
• Build boards and presentation materials for product line review.
• Seek potential efficiencies and make recommendations to improve standards.
• Be highly flexible and open to feedback in the interest of better outcomes.

Requirements

• Significant design experience.
• Desire to improve as an artist.
• Ability to understand design initiatives and provide thoughtful input.
• Proactive and detailed-oriented, with good follow-through while adhering to deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks while working independently.
• Ability to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Strong creative background and expertise using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Acrobat and MS Office.

QMx Press – High-quality prints, books and novels inspired by beloved science fiction TV and films. This category includes blueprints, expanded universe reference packs, and character and vehicle posters.

QMx Artisan – Hand-built models of props and vehicles. These items are produced by professional Hollywood prop-makers. Edition sizes are generally very limited.
