Quantum Mechanix Inc. (QMx) is looking for sales representatives to work at our Los Angeles-based corporate headquarters. You will need a working knowledge of the properties QMx represents, and the ability to work independently under direction and with a variety of customer types. The ability to bring on new accounts without the benefit of leads is a must. You may also be called on to work regional shows and events when needed.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue by developing new accounts.
• Maintain existing accounts when called upon.
• Effectively implement sales programs.
• Engage actively and directly with resellers.
• Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-through.
• Follow up for collection of payment when necessary.
• Help build and support a positive brand for QMx.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and achievement toward goals.
• Participate in weekly sales conference call meetings either by phone or video.
• Other duties as assigned.

• At least 2 years’ experience, preferably in sales for a collectibles-based company; experience with a science fiction or fantasy-based company is a plus.
• High energy, strong work ethic, enthusiasm.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Self-motivated.
