Alien technology has come through again with another design that comes to us directly from Stargate Command. It's the Stargate SGU Coaster, a miniaturized stargate with its event horizon permanently fixed in place – perfect for protecting table surfaces from your hot or cold drinks.

The Stargate SGU Coaster Set includes four mini stargates, each a scale replica that was developed using 3-D graphics files from the Syfy television series. The stargate design is hand cast in resin and hand painted in detail with weathering. The event horizon is semi-transparent blue with a rippled surface.

So whether your drink of choice is coffee, tea, a soft drink or something that'll give you a bit of a buzz, you'll enjoy your beverage in style with the Stargate SGU Coaster Set.
