LOS ANGELES — August 12, 2016 — Premiering this week is a brand new Superman art print from acclaimed UK artist Chris Skinner.

QMx is proud to offer "Fortress of Solitude," an original design featuring the DC Comics' superhero.

Like the rest of us, Superman needs to kick back and recharge his batteries. Luckily for him, he has a secret sanctuary: the Fortress of Solitude. Accessible only by Kryptonians, who are able to use the enormous arrow-shaped key, this icy retreat is the Man of Steel's headquarters and the only place he can relax and work undisturbed.

Chris Skinner is an illustrator and motion graphics artist based in Sheffield, UK. Well known in the poster and limited-edition print industry, he creates artwork based on popular film, graphic novels and popular culture using traditional, digital and 3-D rendering. Chris is heavily influenced by art movements such as Art Deco, film noir, science fiction, and artists such as Hugh Ferris, Anton Furst and Ralph McQuarrie.

Through his skillful use of perspective, Chris's artwork evokes a sense of expansiveness using dynamic and cinematic vantage points that showcase a keen attention to detail.
