LOS ANGELES – September 28, 2012 – If you caught Season 4, Episode 9 of Warehouse 13, entitled "The Ones You Love," you saw our new Mini Tesla in action.

During a visit to the Vatican, Warehouse 13 Caretaker Mrs. Irene Frederic handed the electroshock weapon to Agent Steve Jinks, who had to zap members of the Brotherhood as they stepped out of a painting. The pint-sized ray gun was a gift from Agent Claudia Donovan to her buddy, Jinksy.

The Mini Tesla is our first original prop design for Warehouse 13. This compact handful of steampunk fun was created by the QMx FX Cinema Arts division in partnership with concept designer Patrick Priebe and the Warehouse 13 production company.

The hero prop is made of clear resin, copper, steel, brass and petrified wood. The left chamber glows amber when it's switched on. A brass plaque with the name "Jinksy" is affixed to the right side of the handle.

The QMx Mini Tesla seen on Warehouse 13 was built and finished by hand by QMx's own model-makers.

Just to make sure there's no confusion, our Mini Tesla is a completely original design. The small Tesla seen earlier in Season 3 of Warehouse 13 is not a QMx creation.

We plan to offer the Mini Tesla as part of our Artisan Master Series line sometime next year. No word yet on the edition size or price, but we'll be sure to keep you posted.
